Removing the CPU 

To remove the CPU, first remove the keyboard (see 

Removing the Keyboard

) then perform 

the following steps: 

1.  Remove the two black screws at the left side of the heat sink and loosen the four other 

screws in the center of the heat sink

2.  Remove the conducting tape connecting the heat sink with the heat plate.  
3.  Carefully lift the heat sink and disconnect the two CPU fan connectors.
