4. Carefully lift the IDE/Audio vertically to disconnect it from the main board and put it
aside.
Note:
The IDE/Audio board is connected to the main board through two connectors. These connectors
are located underneath the IDE/Audio board.
Removing the Main Board
To remove the main Board, first remove the keyboard (see

the LED assy (see

), remove the wireless LED board (see

1. Remove the last two screws holding the heat sink covering the chipset..

2. Remove the two screws shown next and take out the metal brackets that the screws
held in place.
