Assign Supervisor Password — Establishes password protection for entering the
BIOS Setup utility, booting the system, and resuming from Standby. (Resume from
Standby, not applicable in Windows 98/2000 with ACPI.)

Assign User Password — Establishes a user password once a supervisor password
is set.
!
Boot Password Required — Indicates whether or not a password is required during
system boot.

Resume Password Required — Indicates whether or not a password is required
during system resume. Boot Password must be defined to activate this parameter.

Assign HDD Password — Allows you to assign a password to allow or restrict
access to the hard disk drive contents.

Internal HDD Password — Enables or disables the HDD password.
!
VersaBay HDD password — Enables or disables the VersaBay III password.
Establishing System Passwords
To establish password protection for entering the BIOS Setup utility or accessing the
system at startup, you must set the supervisor password before setting a user password.

To enter a password simply select Assign Supervisor Password, enter the password,
re-enter the password to confirm, and press any key to continue. Repeat the
procedure to set the user password.
