Keyboard — 87 keys with the standard QWERTY-key layout. (Models purchased outside
of the U.S. and Canada ship with country-specific keyboard layouts.)

Operating Status LEDs — Keeps you informed of your NEC Versa’s current operating
status. See the following section for details about the operating status LEDs.

Power Button — Press the Power button to power on, power off, and to resume from
Standby (Windows 98/2000) or Suspend (Windows NT) mode.

LCD Panel — Provides a high-resolution display for sharp, effective visuals on your NEC
Versa.

NEC VersaGlide — The NEC VersaGlide works like a standard computer mouse. Simply
move your fingertip over the VersaGlide to control the position of the mouse pointer. Use
the selection buttons below the VersaGlide to select menu items.
