Second Initialisation
General Description
Use this Memory Block to initialize all the system hardware. All system software and user
programming are retained after the Second Initialization.
Note:
IMPORTANT
If VMS, FMS, ACD and/or IPT cards installed in the system, please ensure all cards have
completed their startup sequence before performing a second initialisation.
These cards are considered fully ‘started up’ about 5 minutes after power is applied.

Go off-line.

Press LK8 + LK8 +

to access the Memory Block.

When the system display prompt indicates CPU RESET?, the first four CO/PBX lines light red.

N
to begin the initialization process.

P
to go back on-line.
