Device Map
Through this product
’
s Web setting, the terminals connected to a wired LAN port and a wireless LAN can be visually
confirmed.
The devices connected to the LAN connected to this product can be checked. Use this in order to visually check the
network configuration centered on this product. It can be made easier to see the network configuration by assigning
an arbitrary name to the physical LAN port in the web setting. For the device map setting method, refer to Section
5.9.2.
[Uses of this function]
The connection location of the terminal connected to the LAN can be found using the IP address or MAC address
as keys.
Each physical LAN port can be managed with a unique name.
Corresponding terminal can be selected from the Web setting and check the detailed information of the selected
terminal.
Communication with a wired LAN port or a terminal connected to a wireless LAN can be detected and visually
displayed.
[Terminal information update timing]
The terminal that communicated from the wired LAN port or wireless LAN to the WAN port is detected and displayed
on the device map.
Communication between LAN ports is not detected. Terminal detection is done every 30 minutes every hour.
The initial value of the information update interval of the device map is 1 hour, but can be specified on the Web
setting.

When the device that is installed as the default gateway of this product is in the above table, and the SNMP community
name of the device and the product are the same, an icon indicating the target device as the router on the WAN will be
displayed on the device map.
