A lockable safety switch is recommended for the electrical system for

6.1.6
Installation checklist
When the mechanical assembly of Magna Track LS and fan connection is
complete, the system is ready for use after double-checking the following
points.
1.
Check the air flow (400–1000 m
3
/h, 250–600 cfm) in the nozzle opening
with an air flow indicator. Check the fan impeller rotation direction and/or
damper function.
2.
Check the disconnection procedure. The extraction hose should disconnect
from the exhaust pipe immediately before the station door opening at
normal speed, not more than 5 km/h (3 mph). Adjust the shock absorber if
needed.
3.
Check that the hose lifts away correctly after disconnection and that it
does not touch the station floor. When required, adjust the balancer lifting
power. Do not over tighten the balancer! Use just enough tension so it will
retract the hose.
4.
Check that the hose and the nozzle do not catch any part of the vehicle or
threshold.

Using Magna Track LS
7.1
Driving in
1.
Open the station door and start the exhaust extraction fan. (An automatic
fan start is available as option.)
2.
Back the vehicle in so that the exhaust pipe is just at the station door and
stop, see Figure 12.
3.
Place the nozzle of the flexible hose on the exhaust pipe. Fasten the
magnetic unit onto the anchor plate located on the side of the vehicle, see
Figure 13 and Figure 11.
4.
Resume backing the vehicle into its parking position. The nozzle is always
to be connected to the exhaust pipe while the vehicle is parked in the
station.
7.2
Driving out
1.
Make sure the nozzle is connected to the exhaust pipe and that it is firmly
fastened to the anchor plate on the vehicle’s side.
2.
Start the fan and open the station door. Drive the vehicle straight out
from the station with a maximum speed of 5 km/h (3 mph). The hose
automatically disconnects when the vehicle is exiting. If the magnet does
not disconnect as intended, it will be pulled off the anchor plate by the
hose without damage to the system. This may cause the nozzle to sway
more than normally.
