WARNING!
Risk of personal injury.
Make sure the system retracts in a controlled fashion! Like any pendulum
system there will be a recoil when driving out and the Magna Track LS
releases from the anchor plate, which may damage or injure persons or objects.
Release force is approximately 180N ± 18N (40 lbs ± 4lbs). Make sure the
area next to the vehicle is free from persons or objects.
Approximately 550 N (125 lbs) is required to pull the magnet off the anchor
plate straight out. A manual disconnection from the anchor plate is possible by
lifting the handle of the magnet assembly upwards.
NOTE!
The flexible hose can withstand 150 °C (300 °F). Use at higher
temperatures will shorten the life of the product. Therefore, avoid tasks that
require extended periods of continuous running which will generate high
exhaust temperatures.

Check these points when necessary and at least twice a
year
1.
The magnetic operation. Check the attachment with the connector. Also
check the magnet and the anchor plate for dirt, chips or rost. Clean with a
dry cloth when needed. Replace the magnet if necessary.
2.
Tighten the center screw on the anchor plate.
3.
Disconnection position. The extraction hose should disconnect from the
exhaust pipe immediately before the threshold at normal speed, not more
than 5 km/h (3 mph).
4.
Check the disconnection wire length and wire locks. Adjust when needed,
see Section
6.1.4. Adjustment of disconnection wires.
5.
Check that the spring of disconnection wire is intact and hocked on.
6.
Check the operation of the balancer, make sure that the hose lifts up
properly. If necessary, adjust the lifting power of the balancer.
7.
Check the wire on the balancer.
8.
Check that the trolley moves easy in the whole length of the track.
9.
Check the mounting devices including bolts on the track profiles.
10.
Check the exhaust hoses.
