1-phase power unit
The cleansed air moves on to the high-pressure fans in the power unit. The air
leaves the unit via noise-abating ducts in the power unit.
If flow-through is too small over a sufficiently long period, for example due to a
closed flap valve blocked hose, the motors will become overheated. The suction
hose should therefore not be completely blocked for longer than a few seconds.
Clogged filters, which also reduce the flow of air, can result in overheating. The
motors are protected against overheating by a thermal cut-out. This means that
the unit will restart when the thermal cut-out has cooled down.
The 300E is not to be used as a stationary vacuum unit because of the danger
of overheating.

Transport and lifting
See Figures 11 and 12. The 300E can be transported vertically or horizontally.
In order not to spread any hazardous dust when transporting, the suction hose
is to be disconnected from the inlet so that the flap valve closes.
The hose can be “short-circuited” by connecting the couplings at either end of
the hose. The collecting receptacle must be fitted when transporting and lifting
the unit. The eccentric catches holding the receptacle must be secured using
locking cotters, see Figure 5. Remove cleaning equipment and other loose parts
from the unit before lifting. Replace sack/bag in the collecting receptacle if it
contains large amounts of heavy material (>10 kg. The unit weighs 36 kg when
empty). Attach lifting straps to the frame handle to lift the unit. The handle
must be locked in its vertical position.
At the same time ensure that there is no damage to the handle mountings on
the frame.
WARNING!
It is prohibited to remain underneath the 300E when lifting. Lifting the 300E
by the handle located on top of the power unit is prohibited.
