Intended use
Magna Track LS is intended for the extraction of exhaust fumes from vehicle
combustion engines in applications with low frequency use, low speed and
limited airflow, see Section
4.2. Technical data.

Before installation

Delivery checks
Check the unit for any transport damage. In case of damage or parts missing,
notify the carrier and your local Nederman representative immediately.
5.2
Installation requirements
Before Magna Track LS can be installed, a suitable position must be
determined in relation to the vehicle’s parking position in the station. See
Figure 1.
The distance from the floor to the bottom edge of the track is normally to be
3.3–3.6 m (11–12 ft). The track is to be installed at least 0.3 m (1 ft) from the
side of the threshold. If Magna Track LS is to be used between two vehicles,
the distance between the vehicles must be at least 2 m (6 ft).
The distance from the track’s leading edge to the station door is to be at least
1.5 m (5 ft). Make sure the door can open freely without interference to the
track.
