Swing Arm SA-G
EN
connect the air hose directly to the compressed air
outlet. If the automatic vacuum valve TAV 50 is not
mounted, a spacer (optional) is required between
the arm and the vacuum dropper.
• When the arm is installed, remove the band keeping
the inner and the outer arm together.
5 Maintenance
All installation, repair and maintenance work must
be carried out by qualified personnel. Contact your
nearest authorized distributor or Nederman for advice
on technical service or if you require help with spare
parts.
NOTE!
The service intervals in this chapter are based
on the unit being professionally maintained.
WARNING! Risk of personal injury
Never carry out any service work, mechanic-
al or electrical, without first disconnecting the
power supply and the compressed air supply.
Inspect the Swing Arm SA-G twice a year as follows:
• Check that there is no mechanical damage to the
arm or to the wall bracket anchoring that could
mean a safety risk.
• Check the electrical and compressed air connec-
tions. Air leakage could cause the automatic vacuum
valve to open unintentionally.
• Check for damage/wear to hoses and cables. Re-
place only with original type of conductive hose.
6 Accessories
For weak walls there is an extra wall bracket.
An automatic vacuum valve, type TAV 50, can be fit-
ted to the standard wall bracket which is fitted with
holes for this purpose. The valve opens automatically
when the arm is used and is otherwise closed.
A welding wire feeder can be fitted to the arm with
a "W-kit" containing a tracking system with trolleys,
hoses, extra wall bracket, etc.
Contact Nederman for further information about ac-
cessories.
