Safety

•  To reduce risk of electric shock, this product should 

only be opened by an authorized technician when 

service is required. Read the manual carefully before 

use. Keep the manual for future reference.

•  Only use the device for its intended purposes. Do not 

use the device for other purposes than described in 

the manual.

•  Do not use the device if any part is damaged or 

defective. If the device is damaged or defective, 

replace the device immediately.

•  The device is suitable for indoor use only. Do not use 

the device outdoors.

•  Pacemaker users are advised against using the 

device.

Battery safety

•  Use only the batteries mentioned in the manual.

•  Do not use old and new batteries together.

•  Do not use batteries of different types or brands.

•  Do not install batteries in reverse polarity.

•  Do not short-circuit or disassemble the batteries.

•  Do not expose the batteries to water.

•  Do not expose the batteries to fire or excessive heat.

•  Batteries are prone to leakage when fully discharged. 

To avoid damage to the product, remove the 

batteries when leaving the product unattended for 

longer periods of time.

•  If liquid from the batteries comes into contact with 

skin or clothing, immediately rinse with fresh water.

Use

1.  Download and install the app “Nedis SmartLife” from 

Apple App Store or Google Play Store on your mobile 

device.

2.  Launch the app “Nedis SmartLife”.

3.  Create a new account or log in to your existing 

account.

4.  Tap “+” to add the device.

5.  Select the correct product from the list.

6.  Open the battery compartment. Insert the batteries 

(3x AAA/R06, not included) into the battery 

compartment. Close the battery compartment.

7.  Place the device on a hard and flat surface.

8.  If the status indicator does not flash: Press and hold 

the reset button for 6 seconds. 

If the status indicator flashes: Confirm in the app.

9.  Confirm the Wi-Fi network and password.

10. Enter the device name.

11. Open the product in the app and add new user(s).

12. Step on the platform with your bare feet. Make sure 

that your feet touch the electrodes on both sides of 

the platform.

13. Step off the platform after the display shows the 

weight. The device will connect to the Wi-Fi network 

and send the measurements to your account.

14. Claim the measurement to the correct user.

Optional:

15. Switch on automatic distribution to automatically 

assign future measurements to the correct user 

(+/- 3kg compared to last measurement).

16. Share the device with others to allow them to 

monitor your measurements.
