Introduction:

The

Take-2

 is a state-of-the-art message-on-hold adapter capable of allowing the user to place up to 

two callers on-hold. An external audio source can be connected to the adapter to keep callers enter-

tained and informed of your products or services. This system is specifically designed for the SOHO 

(Small Office Home Office) environment where up to two lines on a single phone are supported. 

Unpacking and Inspection

:

Before you begin installation, unpack and verify you have all the correct parts.

(1) Take-2 with attached power supply

(1) RCA to RCA cable

(1) 1/8˝ Adapter

(3) RJ-11 Cord 

(1) 2-line splitter/adapter *

(1) Female-to-female in-line adapter* 

(1) Instruction manual

* Used for 2-line installs where incoming lines are on separate wall jacks

If you are missing any of these parts STOP and call your dealer. 

Installation Note:

If this is a two-line installation and both lines ARE NOT coming into the phone on the same wire, then the 

included adapter must be used to put Line 1 on the center two pins and Line 2 on the two outside pins of the 

Take-2 input connector.
