movements.
Caution: The X-FLY is not designed to perform manoeuvres outside the
normal flight configuration. It is also recommended NOT to fly aerobatics.
Landing with the X-FLY
The X-FLY is easy and understandable to land. Choose a landing area free of
obstacles. A classic approach in the paragliding style is easy, particularly with the
bigger sizes. A straight line final will allow you to make an efficient final brake. It
could be necessary to make in 2 steps, or to flair a bit if using the smaller sizes,
to dispel correctly the speed energy.
Care, maintenance
Good habits in the use of your X-FLY will ensure a long period of continuous safe
operation. Excessive wear is caused by careless ground handling and packing,
unnecessary exposure to UV light, chemicals, heat and moisture. On the ground,
please avoid violent shocks on the leading edge, don’t drag the glider along,
don’t walk on lines and cloth, don’t let the glider out in the sun unnecessarily (UV
rays degrade glider cloth).
Since folding the glider weakens the materials, pack the glider loosely. The X-FLY
should be kept dry and cool. Do not pack the glider away for a prolonged period
if it is damp, sandy, salty, or if other objects have entered the cells. Always allow it
to dry naturally before storage in a dry room. Leave the rucksack zip open whene-
ver possible. Don’t stock your glider in a too warm place (a car under sun heat).
Use only lukewarm water and a soft cloth to clean your wing. Never use any
abrasive materials or detergents.
Only clean the wing if it is absolutely necessary.
We recommend that an authorized NEO agent inspects the X-FLY after every
100 hours flying time or every year, whichever is sooner.
