Setting the clock
1. Set unit in standby mode.
2. Press and hold the “Mem/Clk-Adj” button (13) a second, display will flash “24HR” press the Skip Up
or
Skip
Down
button (12/19) to select the clock format between 12 or 24Hour. Then press the “Mem/Clk-Adj” button
(13) the hour digit will flash on LCD display (9) Press the Skip down
(12) or Skip up
(19) button to set the
correct hour. Press the “Mem/Clk-Adj” button (13) to store the hour then minute digit will flash.
3. Press
the
Skip
down
(12) or Skip up
(19) button to set the correct minutes.
4. Press “Mem/Clk-Adj” button (13) to store the correct hour.
The pre-set time will be re-set completely if dis-connecting the main power supply. You are
recommended to switch the system into standby mode for convenience usage.
Listening to radio
Manual tuning
1. Turn on the unit by pressing the On/Off button (17) and then press the Function button (10) until it reach the Tuner
mode.
2. Press the Band button (18) to select FM radio.
3. Press
the
Skip
down
(12) or Skip up
(19) button to tune your desired station.
4. Adjust volume knob (8) for the desired volume level.
4. Press and hold the On/Off button (17) a second to switch off the unit.
Auto tuning
1. Follow “Manual tuning” step 1-2 to select the tuner mode and FM radio
2. Press and hold the Skip down
(12) or Skip up
(19) button to start auto scan until radio station received.
3. Adjust volume knob (8) for the desired volume level
FM & FM-stereo reception
The unit will default the FM mode at auto status. Thus, if FM stereo signal received then will get the stereo sound
automatically. When stereo signals are weak and noisy. It is preferable to change the FM mode by Mono-ST button
(14)
Check the FM receiving mode by press Mono-ST button (14).
Hints for best reception:
-
FM : the receiver has rod antenna (6) hanging at the rear cabinet. this should be totally extended for best reception.
Preset stations
You can store up to total of 20 radio stations in the memory (20-FM).
1. Set to FM mode
2. Turn to the desired radio station by “ manual ” or “ auto ” tuning method.
3. Press the “Mem” button (13) to enable memory state.
4. Press Pre-up button (24) to select the desired station memory for storage.
5. Press “Mem” button (13) again to confirm the setting.
6. Repeat step 2 to 5 to store other stations.
7. Press the Pre-up/down button (24) to recall the preset station directly.
Playing CD disc
Getting start
1. Press Function button (10) to select CD mode.
2. Open the CD door by pressing the CD door open/close (7). Put a CD disc into the compartment and close the CD
door.
3. Focus search is performance if disc is inside. Total number of tracks is read and will start to playback automatically.
Play / pause mode
1. If
Play/Pause
button (18) is pressed during playback, system go to pause mode and the play indicator will start
flashing at the LCD display (9). Press again to resume normal playback.
Stop mode
1. If
Stop button (11) is pressed during play or pause mode. Go to stop mode and display total number of track on
the LCD display (9).
Skip mode (skip up
/skip down
)
1. During play mode, if skip up
button (19) is pressed it will go to next track and display the track no. and then
continuous the play.
2. During play mode, if Skip down
button (12) is pressed, it will go back to the beginning of the track, same track
no. is display and continuous the play mode.
3. After step 2, press skip down
button (12) again, it will go to the previous track and continuous the play mode.
