Startup Process
After VBAT is powered on, inputting a low level pulse for longer than 1.8s and less than 3s at the
PWRKEY_N pin can trigger startup of the module. The AT command function is available after 5
seconds. The PWRKEY_N pin is internally connected to a 1 kΩ resistor in serial connection mode. The
resistance of the external external resistor connected to the ground in serial connection mode cannot
be excessively large (the recommended resistor resistance in serial connection mode is 470 Ω).
Otherwise, the module cannot be started up since PWRKEY_N is at a high level all the time internally.
If the module startup is configured as automatic startup once powered on, connect the PWRKEY_N
pin to a 470 Ω resistor in serial connection mode to the ground.
The module needs to be initialized after startup. During the initialization process, the status of each
function pin of the module is not controlled, and the status may be uncertain. Therefore, do not perform
other operations on the module until it is initialized completely. The following figure shows the startup
process.
