Schematic design guidelines:
For the impedance matching circuit between the module interface and the GNSS antenna, refer
to section 5.7.1 "ANT_MAIN Antenna Interface."
If using a passive GNSS antenna, place an LNA near the antenna feed point because the
module does not embed an LNA internally. The GNSS_LNA_EN pin is used to enable the
external LNA.
Reference Design of an Active GNSS Antenna
After the GNSS antenna receives GNSS satellite signals, the LNA amplifies the signals first and then
transmits them to the ANT_GNSS pin of N58 through the feeder and PCB traces. The following figure
shows the reference design of an active GNSS antenna.
