NET_LIGHT is the network status indicator pin of the module. It outputs PWM waveforms of different
duty cycles based on different working states and drives an LED indicator to blink at different
frequencies when the module is functioning. The LED indicator can be set to blink in different states by
using
AT+SIGNAL
. For details, see
Neoway_N58_AT_Command_Manual
.
Do not use NET_LIGHT to drive an LED indicator directly since it outputs a high level of 1.8 V. It is
recommended to drive an LED indicator by controlling a triode. The following figure shows the
reference design of driving an LED indicator by controlling a triode.

Incoming call/SMS indicator control -
RING prompt for an incoming voice call
Once a voice call is incoming, the UART interface outputs "RING" character strings and the
RING pin outputs a high pulse with a pulse width of 600 ms and a period of 5 seconds during the
ringing period. After the call is answered, the pin restores to low-level output. The following figure
shows the RING indicator for an incoming voice call.
