SK VAP overview

The SK VAP system consists of 3 main components as follows:

1- SK VAP Control panel

The SK VAP control panel is located outside the AHU. The system gives digital control

over desired relative humidity or temperature levels, flush, drain and other water quali-

ty maintenance features.

Comprehensive real-time feedback shows current relative humidity and temperature,

demand, hours run, system operating status and whether maintenance is required.

The whole system is easy to set up and is security code protected to prevent unautho-

rised alteration of system settings.

The panel is very compact at just 13” (330mm) Wide x 16” (406mm) High x 3.75”

(95mm) Deep. The unit is rated to IP21.

2 - SK VAP Evaporative Module

The SK VAP evaporative module is available in a range of widths (24” (600mm) - 118” (3000mm)) and heights (30”

(750mm)) - 106” (2750mm)) to match the requirements of individual applications. The evaporative matrix consists of

modular cassettes with low pressure drop which are available in a range of sizes and efficiencies.

The SK VAP evaporative module is constructed from recyclable high grade stainless steel.

The module has an integrated drain and overflow connection which is reversible and

simplifies drain plumbing.

Water flow and level in the system are controlled by a fill control solenoid, float valve

and low/high level float switch, and drain flow is controlled by a motorised valve.

Water is recirculated over the matrix by a high grade circulating pump.

3 - PureFlo Ag+ System

The SK VAP is supplied with a PureFlo Ag+ anti-bacterial cartridge and 5 micron 

sediment filter. 

PureFlo Ag+ with Argentosan

TM

has been developed

to inhibit the growth of bacteria, moulds and fungi in concentrations normally found in

potable water supplies. 

Argentosan is not a disinfectant and will not  kill all microbes in contaminated

water.  It is therefore important that the quality of the water supplying the

humidifier is monitored and controlled regularly according to the risk

assessment for your building.
