Steam dispersion system selection
In order to prevent the accumulation of condensation in air ducts, NEP has designed 4 basic configurations
of steam distribution to provide the client with the most economical solution for any particular application.
4.1.1. S.A.M. (steam absorption manifold) Horizontal duct

The SAM is to be installed
where absorption distances are
short, less than 1500mm, and/or
low duct temperatures are in
effect.
4.1.2. S.A.M.E2 (steam absorption manifold) Horizontal duct
(Illus. 6)
The SAME2 is to be installed
where absorption distances are
short, less than 1500mm and/or
low duct temperatures are in
effect. SAME2 are used in
applications with restricted duct
dimensions.
