 Be sure to place the

appliance on flat, stable, dry
heat-resistant surface.

 Turn temperature control

dial to “OFF”.

 Plug cord into outlet.

light would light

up when you put the plug cord
into outlet. But the heating
element would not operate
unless you turn the selector dial
to the desired position from
“OFF” and the control light
would keep lighting until you
unplug the appliance from the
outlet.

Alwayks use flat-bottomed

saucepans which make good
contact with the hot plate.
Make sure they fit the plate.
