The keys of the remote control function as the keys of the front panel of the DVR. The only
difference between the remote control and the front panel is the “DVR SEL” key. The DVR
Selection key is used to switch control between different DVRs.
The remote control can be used to control up to 16 DVRs. In order to control more than one
DVR via the same remote control, users have to assign a unique DVR Unit ID to each DVR.
Use the front panel of the DVR, and follow this path to change the DVR Unit ID: <Main
Menu>

<Unit ID>. Change the DVR Unit ID to any
number between 224 and 239, and exit the menu.
The ID Table listed below shows the association of DVR Unit ID and the remote control
number.

After the DVR Unit ID of all DVRs are changed, users can use the “DVR SEL” key on the
remote control to switch control of different DVRs. Press “DVR SEL”, and then press any
Channel key immediately to select the associating DVR. For example, assuming that the
DVR Unit ID of DVR A is set to 225, press “DVR SEL” and press “2” immediately. Now, the
remote control will only be able to control DVR A. Press “DVR SEL”, and then press any
Channel key to switch control of different DVRs.
NOTE:
If there are two different DVRs set to the same Unit ID, then the operations
on the remote control will apply to the two DVRs at the same time.
