Unable to connect a computer running
Windows
®
Vista
®
to the Mobile Hotspot
Microsoft has a known issue whereby computers running Windows Vista cannot obtain
an IP address from certain routers. More information and a fix are available at

Reset the Mobile Hotspot
You can reset the Mobile hotspot to the factory setting on the device or on the
homepage. This is useful if you have lost your Wi-Fi Passphrase.
To reset the mobile hotspot on the device:
1.
Press and hold the WPS button and Power key for 5 seconds.
Note:
If the mobile hotspot is connected to a power source, do not disconnect until the reset and
reboot is complete (i.e. if it is battery-powered, do not remove the battery; if it is connected to a
USB port or wall socket when you start the reset, do not disconnect it from the USB port or wall
socket).
2.
Reconnect Wi-Fi devices.
To reset the mobile hotspot on the homepage:
1.
On the homepage, click the About Your Mobile Hotspot icon (
).
2.
Click Reset Device to Factory Defaults.
