C3000 WiFi Cable Modem Router
To back up the configuration settings of the modem router:
1.
From the Advanced tab, select
Administration >
Backup Settings
.
2.
Click
the Back Up
button.
3.
A copy of the current settings is saved.
4.
Choose a location to store the .cfg file that is on a computer on your network.
Restore Configuration Settings
To restore configuration settings that you backed up:
1.
To find the file, enter the full path to the file on your network or click the
Browse
button.
2.
When you have located the .cfg file, click the
Restore
button to upload the file to the modem
router.
Upon completion, the modem router reboots.
WARNING:
Do not interrupt the reboot process.
Erase
Under some circumstances (for example, if you move the modem router to a different
network or if you have forgotten the password), you might want to erase the configuration and
restore the factory default settings.
Either press the
Restore Factory Settings
button on the back of the modem router (see
Factory Default Settings
on page
71) or click the
Erase
button in this screen.
