Maintenance and servicing
IMPORTANT
Observe the safety instructions in Ch. Safety, page 5.
To clean the NTP, proceed as follows:
1. Close the supply air and exhaust air openings.
2. Clean the NTP externally with pressurised water.
3. Activate the NTP briefly.
Maintenance of the NTP must be carried out as follows:

Check hose screw connections and hose fittings, retighten if
necessary.
Monthly
Check fastening screws.*
Check hose screw connections and hose fittings, retighten if
necessary.
Check hose supply connections for permeability and kinks. If
necessary, clean and and remove kinks.
Check the function of the silencer. Clean silencer.
Check the function of the NTP.
Check the function of the mist lubricator (Content decreases?
Number of drops/h?). Refill oil.
Empty the filter of the maintenance unit, if necessary, clean
the filter insert (wash out) and replace, if necessary.
* Observe the recommended tightening torques (see Ch. Technical data, from page 7 on).
The maintenance intervals depend essentially on the service life and how
clean the drive medium is.
Unfiltered compressed air leads to high wear, silencer clogging or com-
plete failure of the NTP.
If you notice loss of performance or standstill of the NTP then have the
NTP checked at
