Adding or replacing disk drives
About replacing
disk drives
When a disk drive fails or is added in a C2100 system, all you need to do is
replace the failed drive, or install the new disk drive into the system. This can be
done while the system is running.
Replacing a failed disk drive or adding an additional disk drive to a C1200
system can be different from the C2100, depending on how many disk drives
your system has. If your C1200 system has two or more disk drives, they are
replaced or installed the same way as a C2100 system. However, if your C1200
has only one disk drive, you must complete special procedures to replace it.
