Control Unit & Electrical Connections
1.
Turn off the control unit and unplug the power cord from the power supply outlet.
2.
Inspect the power cord and plug, magnetic door switch cable, solenoid cable and
temperature sensor cable for cuts in the insulation or other damage.
3.
If any damage is found, contact a qualified service engineer to replace the damaged
parts.
4.4 Cleaning
Clean the control unit with a damp cloth. Never use flammable, abrasive or toxic
cleaners, and never flood with water.
4.5 Battery
Replace the battery every five years
, or when the Low Battery Alarm sounds.

NOTE:
A qualified service engineer should perform the following procedure, using
ONLY a replacement battery of the correct type and part number:
1.
Remove the four screws holding the cover on the unit.
2.
Lift the cover from the unit.
3.
Unplug and remove the old battery and replace it with a new battery.
4.
Reconnect the battery: red to positive, black to negative.
5.
Reinstall the cover.

Routine Performance Check
Routinely (we recommend a preset schedule), check the LN
2
backup system by repeating
the tests outlined in Section 3.1.

Return Authorization Policy
No returned material or equipment will be accepted unless it has a Return Authorization
Number issued by the service department at the location to which the material or
equipment is being returned.
This Return Authorization Number must appear on the outside of all cartons and/or
packages.
