Wheels with steel centre disc welded to flange on the rim
NOTE:
The track widths in Figure 230 are nominal
and may vary from that shown dependent on wheel
and tyre size.
NOTE:
With the larger width tyres, it may not be
possible to move the wheels to the narrower settings
due to limited clearance between the tyre and fender.
CAUTION
Tractor wheels are very heavy. Handle with care and
ensure, when stored, that they cannot topple and
cause injury.
WARNING
Never operate the tractor with a loose wheel rim or
disc. Always tighten nuts to the specified torque and
at the recommended intervals.
When refitting or adjusting a wheel, tighten the bolts
to the following torques then re-check after 50 hours
of operation and thereafter as required.
IMPORTANT:
When interchanging
left
and
right--hand wheel assemblies, ensure the “V” of the
tread at the top of the tyre remains pointing in the
direction of forward travel.
