WARNING

1. Do not smoke.
2. Never fill the tank when the engine is running.
3. Wipe up spilled fuel immediately.
Failure to comply could result in death or serious injury.

The location of the fuel tank filler cap
(1)
is on the right-
hand side of the rear fender. Before removing the cap,
wipe all dust and dirt from around the cap to prevent de-
bris from falling into the tank while filling. The fuel tank
capacity is
25.0 L
(
6.6 US gal
)
There is a strainer located inside the fuel tank neck. Clean
the strainer periodically. Only dispense fuel into the tank
with the strainer installed.
Use an approved diesel fuel container and check the in-
side of the container periodically for cleanliness.
If there is no filter on the storage tank or fuel container,
filter the fuel through a 100-mesh or finer screen when fill-
ing the tractor fuel tank. Keep the tractor tank as full as
possible (without filling to capacity) to minimize conden-
sation.
NOTE:
It is a good practice to fill the fuel tank at the end
of each day, as this will reduce overnight condensation.
