Attach the Hand Strap
Step 1: Insert the loop on the hand strap into the slot at the back of the device.
Step 2: Thread the upper portion of the hand strap into the loop. Pull the clip through the loop over the tether point and
tighten it into place.
Switching On the DC850
Hold down the Power key on the lower right corner of the terminal to turn on the device. Note that the initialization is going
to take some time before the DC850 displays the Home screen.
Waking the Sleep Mode
After switching on the device, press the power key briefly will make the device in sleep mode.
If no operation is performed on the DC850 5 for a preset period of time, the DC850 will in sleep mode automatically.
You can change how long it takes for the DC850 to go into sleep mode.
Press the power key briefly will wake the sleep mode.
Switching off the DC850
Hold down the Power key for more than 3 seconds until the screen showing
“
halting
”
, and then the device will be in
power-off mode.
When DC850 crashed, hold down the power key for more than 10 seconds will shut down the device forcibly.
If the DC850 is connected with USB
,
the system will prompt to remove the USB before switching off the DC850.
Charging the battery
There are two methods to charge the battery.
Charge with AC adapter:
Connect the DC850 to a power outlet using the included AC adapter.
Charge with USB Cable:
Connect the DC850 to a USB port using the included USB cable.
When charging the DC850, the charging LED indicator on the terminal will be in red. When the LED turns to green, the
battery fully charged. The charging time by using the AC adapter and the USB cable is different.
