1)
The exterior side view mirrors feature small cameras that provide a view down the side of your
unit facing backward. The “Rear Vision” system will automatically switch to the appropriate
camera (left or right) any time the turn signals are used.
2)
There are also two side view cameras mounted high on the sidewalls just forward of the bedroom
slide outs. These cameras look down and slightly forward.
3)
There is a camera located in the front overhead cabinet facing rearward, showing the living room
and kitchen area.
Video Surveillance System
Located in the bedroom, the Video Surveillance System uses a color
monitor connected to the cameras in the Rear Vision System.
The left switch on the panel turns the system on, and the right switch
allows you to toggle through the cameras that are a part of this system,
allowing you to view a variety of areas in and around your unit.
Windows
The windows installed in this unit are radius style double pane with tinted safety glass. These windows
are also referred to as jalousie windows. They open with the simple turn of a crank. A power window is
available on the driver’s side as an option.
Sun shades may be standard on the driver and passenger side
windows.
In the bedroom of the unit, one window will be marked “EXIT.”
This window is an emergency escape, or egress, window. To open
in case of an emergency, lift the red handles at the bottom of the
window and push out. The entire window will swing out of the
frame to allow easier egress through the larger opening.
Vents
A 12 volt vent may be installed in the kitchen. This vent is equipped with a rain sensor on the roof hood.
Anytime the vent is open and it senses rain, it will automatically close. The vent is controlled by the wall
switch.
Do not leave the fan in active mode while the unit is in storage or unattended for long periods of time.
High winds or other unusual conditions or obstructions may prevent the vent from closing resulting in
leakage, which could cause serious damage.
The vent installed in the bathroom is also powered by 12 volt electricity. This vent is identical to the one
installed in the kitchen, and provides positive power ventilation to quickly clear the air in the bathroom
area of your King Aire.
For improved lighting and headroom, a skylight is installed in the bathroom over the shower. The opening
provides additional light during daylight hours, and the glass is tinted to provide privacy and reduce glare.
