Rear Vision System
Your King Aire is equipped with a “Rear Vision” package that
allows you to access and view the exterior (and interior) of your
unit through a number of video cameras located in and around your
coach.
The cameras are accessed through the left hand touch screen Sony
monitor in the dash.
The primary camera view is from the rear of the unit. A camera
mounted on the rear cap of your motorhome faces down and back to help you when backing the
unit, when observing traffic in transit, or when checking on a vehicle you are towing behind your
unit. This camera comes on automatically any time your RV transmission is in reverse. It can
also be manually selected using the “Camera Select” button on the dash switch panel below the
monitor.
There are five additional cameras in this “Rear Vision” system. As with the rear vision camera,
all of these cameras can be manually selected using the “Camera Select” switch on the dash
below the monitor.
1)
The exterior side view mirrors feature small cameras that provide a view down the side of
your unit facing backward. The “Rear Vision” system will automatically switch to the
appropriate camera (left or right) any time the turn signals are used.
2)
There are also two side view cameras mounted high on the sidewalls just forward of the
bedroom slide outs. These cameras look down and slightly forward.
3)
There is a camera located in the front overhead cabinet facing rearward, showing the
living room and kitchen area.
Video Surveillance System
Located in the bedroom, the Video Surveillance System uses a color
monitor connected to the cameras in the Rear Vision System.
The left switch on the panel turns the system on, and the right switch
allows you to toggle through the cameras that are a part of this system,
allowing you to view a variety of areas in and around your unit.
Windows
The windows installed in this unit are radius style double pane with
tinted safety glass. These windows are also referred to as jalousie
windows. They open with the simple turn of a crank. A power window is available on the driver’
s
side as an option.
Sun shades may be standard on the driver and passenger side windows.
