Overview
Video recorder
CVR640
is a portable electronic unit designed to record the image
produced by various digital NV devices equipped with a video out.
The unit has a number of features such as:
Connectivity with most Newton, Pulsar or Yukon digital NV devices
Long operating time – up to seven hours
Recording video signal to the hard disc of a PC
User choice of video signal format - PAL/NTSC
Multiple ways to attach the unit to NV devices
Compact size and low weight
Components and Controls
1. «Rec» Record button.
2. «ON» button.
3. Mount for Weaver rail.
4. Light emitting diodes (LED).
Battery installation
Slide the cover of the battery compartment in the direction shown
on the cover and remove it.
Install three AAA type batteries (inc. NiMH rechargeable batteries)
according to the polarity markings inside the battery compartment.

the battery cover

Connection and video recording
Insert the SD memory card as shown in pic. 1.
Connect one plug of the video cable to the “Video In” jack (

) of the CVR640,
the other to the “Video Out” of a digital NV device (refer to the connection
schemes below).
Start the CVR640 by pushing the “ON” (

) button – a blue LED (

) will blink
rapidly for three seconds and will light up.
Turn on your night vision device.
Push the “Rec” (

) button to begin recording – the blue LED will start blinking.
To stop video recording push the “Rec” (
1
) button. The blue LED will cease
to blink.
