4 Click the
Connect
button at the top of the screen.
5 The Nextel Connection Manager connects to the Internet. A system clock appears at the bottom of the main
user interface screen. This clock keeps track of the amount of time you are connected to the Internet.
Status Light on your im240 Wireless Modem
•
Flashing red:
Registering. Your modem is registering with your service provider’s network. Please wait.
•
Solid Red:
No service. Your modem cannot register with the network. The modem will continue trying to
register every two minutes until it is powered off.
•
Flashing Amber:
Unit registered. No packet data service.
•
Flashing Green:
In service. Your modem has successfully completed packet data registration.
•
Solid Green:
Transmitting or receiving data.
