Nextel Connection Manager User Guide
User Interface Messages
When you click on the different user interface prompts, make sure to
single-click
, rather than double-click, the
prompts. When you double-click the prompts, you may mistakenly cancel the action you just requested.
The
No Service
prompt means you have launched the Nextel Connection Manager, but are not yet ready to
connect to the Internet, or there is no available Nextel or WiFi network at your current location for your active
profile.
The
Initializing
prompt means the im240 Wireless Modem is registering with your service provider and/or the
WiFi HW is setting up your WiFi association.
The
Nextel
prompt means you have launched the Nextel Connection Manager, the im240 Wireless Modem has
registered with the network. It also means that your WiFi hardware has associated to the WiFi network in your
profile, and you are now ready to connect to the Internet.
The
Connecting
prompt means that the Nextel Connection Manger is setting up a connection to the Internet.
The
Disconnect
prompt means you may now single-click the prompt to end the Internet connection.
The
Disconnecting
prompt means your Nextel Connection Manager is disconnecting from the current Internet
connection.
