PROGRAMMABLE AC POWER SOURCE
258
10.16 AGC (Optional)
When the AGC (Automatic Gain Control) is on, the detection point voltage is always measured, and
the output voltage is continuously corrected so that its effective value is equal to the output voltage
setting value. The fluctuation of the detection point voltage can be suppressed even when the load is
fluctuated. The detection point can be switched between the sensing input terminal (remote sensing
on) and the output terminal (remote sensing off).
Effective only for AC-INT, AC-VCA, AC-SYNC, DC-INT, and DC-VCA and when the waveform
is sine wave or DC. It is turned off when the Sequence or Simulation is selected. It cannot be
selected when the Autocal is set to on.

10.17 Autocal (Output Voltage Compensation)
When the Autocal (Automatic Calibration) is on, the detection point voltage is always measured,
and the output voltage is continuously corrected so that its effective value is equal to the output
voltage setting value. The ratio (correction factor) of the detection point voltage to the output
voltage setting value is used until the Autocal or the power is turned off. Therefore, the detection
point voltage is not necessarily maintained if the load changes while the Autocal is on. The detection
point can be switched between the sensing input terminal (remote sensing on) and the output
terminal (remote sensing off).
Unlike the AGC, it cannot follow a load fluctuation because it does not keep track of the voltage. On
the other hand, when the load is stable, it has a merit of short response time on changing the output
voltage setting.
Effective only for AC-INT, AC-VCA, AC-SYNC, DC-INT, and DC-VCA and when the waveform
is sine wave or DC. It is turned off when the Sequence or Simulation is selected. It cannot be
selected when the AGC is set to on.
