In addition to the above escape sequences, two others are provided for
entering the ASCII characters '+' and '-'. They are as follows:
<Alt-P>
Insert an ASCII '+' into the Input Window
<Alt-N>
Insert an ASCII '-' into the Input Window
These two escape sequences are necessary because <+> and <-> on the
keyboard are used to select the options in the Pattern Buffer Source
field, which is the Input Window parent field.
