General
When Fighter 1220 is docked to pool, the heating
circuits must be supplied with an external circulation
pump. This is because, during pool charging, the heat
pump’s internal circulation pump maintains a flow
through the pool heat exchanger and the extra/external
circulation pump (P8) maintains a flow in the heating
circuits. The external circulation pump is connected to
relay 12 (extra relay card), and it circulates the heat-
ing medium in the heating system during the “Spring/
Autumn” and “Auto(winter)” operating modes.

The flow line sensor must be repositioned from inside
the heat pump to out on the heating circuit.

Conditions for pool charging
If the pool sensor is not connected, pool charging is not
permitted to start.
Heating the pool is prioritised after hot water charging
and heating. Consequently, pool charging only starts
when there is no heating or hot water demand. When
pool charging has started, it runs for at least the time
set in menu 1.11.3 (program version 1.08 and earlier)
or menu 8.4.3 (program version 1.09 and later). If there
is heat demand or hot water demand after the time
set in menu 1.11.3 (program version 1.08 and earlier)
or menu 8.4.3 (program version 1.09 and later), pool
charging stops. If extra hot water is activated during
pool charging, pool charging stops.
