the door open relay.
2. Making an internal call
Press the function key to call a programmed internal unit. For as long the call is not
answered at the internal unit, the indication LED of the function key blinks. If the call is
answered, you hear the standard beep and the indication LED lights continuously.
Note: The receiver of the internal unit that makes the call, does not have to be picked
up. The indication LED indicates if a call is answered at the internal unit that is called.
Only then, you can pick up the receiver.
3. Reporting on the status of the indicator functions
This function enables to report on the contact status of the bus indicator module
(10-840) in the system. The bus indicator module is provided with two N.C. contacts
that are controllable via a simple push button, switch, sensor with contact output... If
the bus indicator module contact switches from closed to open, control function 1 or 3
is sent on the bus. If the contact switches from open to closed, control function 2 or 4
is sent on the bus.
In case of control functions 2 and 4, you hear a brief beep and the indication LED of the
function key on which the function has been programmed.
In case of control functions 1 and 3, you hear a short beep and the indication LED goes
out.
If e.g. a sensor controls the bus indicator in the system, you can read out the status of
the sensor on the Liberty Plus (for more information on the bus indicator module, see
user manual relay 10-840).
4. (De)activating reroute function
The indication LED lights if the function is activated and does not light if the function is
deactivated.
Note: This function only operates in case of a call of an external unit or a floor bell and
not in case of an internal call from another internal unit.
5. Sending control function (11…20) on the bus
The choice of free function key determines which function key you send on the bus.
Function key corresponds to control function 11, 2 to 12 ... function key 10 to control
function 20.
6. Alternatingly sending two control functions (11…20 and 41…50)
The choice of free function key determines which control functions you send on the bus.
- First press on the function key: control function 11…20 is sent, the indication LED
lights.
- Second press on the function key: control function 41…50 is sent, the indication LED
goes out again.
