Upon delivery, the telephone interface is set for use in installations with a telephone exchange (key combination = 20 0

If no telephone exchange is in use, you must then connect the interface directly to the external line. In that case, external telephones are always
called.

Note:
If you want to be able to call both the internal and the external lines, you can utilize shortened numbers to do so on most telephone exchanges.
In that case, this programming is unnecessary.
5.13. Calling an internal unit via the telephone
By using keys 4, 5 and 6 on a telephone, you can call an internal unit (see section 6.1.).
Upon delivery, there are no numbers programmed on these keys.
