2.12. Adjusting the daylight factor
In the ETS software, a factor for the incoming daylight can be entered for each zone individually. Using the IR remote control, it is possible to modify this daylight
factor in the three daylight-controlled zones.
Perform the following to modify the value of the daylight factor using the remote control:
1. Press the ‘Zone 1-3’ button.
2. Press the ‘Daylight -‘ button within 10 seconds to lower the daylight factor in the relevant zone. With each push of the button, the daylight factor will be
lowered by 10%.
3. Press the 'Da' button within 10 seconds to increase the daylight factor in the relevant zone. With each push of the button, the daylight factor will
be increased by 10%.
The blue or red LED of the detector will flash a few times to indicate how many steps the daylight factor is below or above the daylight factor configured using
the ETS software. The detector acknowledges with a single green flash if the daylight factor is the same as that configured using the ETS software.
Example: When ‘Daylight –’ is pressed twice, the blue LED on the detector will flash twice to indicate that the value for the daylight factor is 20% below the value
configured using the ETS software. Then press ‘Da’ five times, and the red LED will flash three times to indicate that the daylight factor is now 30%
above the value configured using the ETS software.
2.13. Adjusting the switch-off delay
In the ETS software, a value can be entered for the switch-off delay on the presence detector. This value determines when the light is dimmed to the level of
orientation lighting. Using the IR remote control, it is possible to modify the switch-off delay on the presence detector.
Perform the following to modify the value of the switch-off delay using the remote control:
1. Press the ‘Time 1 +’ button to extend the switch-off delay. With each push, the switch-off delay will be extended by 5 minutes within a range of ± 60 minutes.
2. Press the ‘Time 1 -’ button to shorten the switch-off delay. With each push, the switch-off delay will be shortened by 5 minutes within a range of ± 60 minutes.
The blue or red LED of the detector will flash a few times to indicate how many steps the switch-off delay is below or above the value configured using the ETS
software. The detector acknowledges with a single green flash if the switch-off delay is the same as that configured using the ETS software.
Example:
When ‘Time 1 -’ is pressed twice, the blue LED on the detector will flash twice to indicate that the value for the switch-off delay is 2 steps (10 minutes)
below the value configured using the ETS software. Then press ‘Time 1 +’ five times, and the red LED will flash three times to indicate that the switch-off delay
is now 3 steps (15 minutes) above the value configured using the ETS software.
2.14. Adjusting the duration of the orientation lighting
In the ETS software, a value can be entered for the duration of the orientation lighting.
This value will determine for how long the lighting will stay at the orientation lighting level, before it will fully switch off.
Using the IR remote control, it is possible to modify the duration of the orientation lighting.
Perform the following to modify the duration of the orientation lighting using the remote control:
1. Press the ‘Time 2 +’ button to extend the duration of the orientation lighting. With each push, the duration of the orientation lighting will be extended by 5
minutes within a range of ± 60 minutes.
2. Press the ‘Time 2 -’ button to shorten the duration of the orientation lighting. With each push, the duration of the orientation lighting will be shortened by 5
minutes within a range of ± 60 minutes.
The blue or red LED of the detector will flash a few times to indicate how many steps the duration of the orientation lighting is below or above the value configured
using the ETS software. The detector acknowledges with a single green flash if the orientation lighting is the same as that configured using the ETS software.
Example:
When ‘Time 2 -’ is pressed twice, the blue LED on the detector will flash twice to indicate that the duration of the orientation lighting is 2 steps (10
minutes) below the value configured using the ETS software. Then press ‘Time 2 +’ five times, and the red LED will flash three times to indicate that the duration
of the orientation lighting is now 3 steps (15 minutes) above the value configured using the ETS software.
2.15. Activating light scenes
This function can be used to activate lighting scenes, e.g. during presentations. The lighting scenes can be activated if they are programmed into memory.
For example, press ‘Scene 1’ to activate light scene 1.
To cancel the light scene, press ‘Auto’. The presence detector will then revert to the automatic operating mode.
2.16. Selecting a zone
To perform a specific function in a specific zone, this zone must first be selected. This is done by pressing ‘Zone 1-4’. You will then have 10 seconds to press
the desired function button. This time can be extended by pressing ‘Dim +’, for example. To cancel the zone selection, it is sufficient to press the same zone
selection button again (‘Zone 1-4’) within 10 seconds.
Example:
The light in zone 1 must be dimmed. Press “Zone 1” and then press “Dim -”. (within 10 seconds). To revert to automatic mode, press ‘Auto’.
