Masking Sheets
When scanning film one or two strips at a time, be sure to cover the remaining apertures with a masking
sheet.
When scanning two or three strips of different lengths, cover any open apertures by cutting a masking
sheet into the appropriate lengths and placing it over the apertures. Leaving apertures open when scan-
ning film of different lengths can interfere with accurate color reproduction.

with accurate color reproduction.
When scanning three film strips containing less than twenty frames but of equal length, place the film so
that it covers the apertures at the end of the holder that will be inserted in the scanner.
