Basic Operation
This chapter explains you how to capture and play back images using the P-400R.

Caution: About ring illuminator
When the P-400R power is turned on, ring illumination may automatically light.
Do not point the luminous section to a person and do not look it directly.

Turning on the power

Press the power switch to turn
on the P-400R power.
When the power is turned on, the
power switch indicator lights in
green with a startup sound.

Directing the P-400R to the object

Open the LCD panel.
The live image is displayed on the
LCD monitor.

Direct the P-400R to the object
and adjust the position so that
the object displayed on the LCD
monitor is focused.
The focus position of the P-400R is
about 29 mm off the objective.
Install P-400R in a commercially
available tripod or use contact
observation adapter that comes
with the P-400R as required.
