Setting the shutter speed
When the exposure mode is Shutter-priority AE or Manual, you can set the shutter
speed arbitrarily.

Check that the exposure mode is set to
Shutter-priority AE or Manual.
The current exposure mode is displayed at
the top left of the LCD monitor.

Press the left button of the
multi-selector.
The [Shutter speed] menu is displayed.

Press the top and bottom buttons of the
multi-selector to adjust the shutter
speed and press the [OK] (or right)
button to apply the value you set.
Adjust the shutter speed while checking it in
the live image.
1/1000, 1/700, 1/500, 1/350, 1/250,
1/180, 1/125, 1/90, 1/60, 1/40, 1/30,
1/20, 1/15, 1/10, 1/8, 1/6, 1/4, 1/3, 1/2,
1/1.5, 1 (unit: second, factory default:
1/60)
Holding down either of the top and bottom
buttons for one second or more
continuously changes the value every 0.2
seconds.
While the menu is displayed, if you press
the [OK] (or right) button, or no operation is
performed for six seconds, the setting is
applied and the ordinary display is
restored.

About settings at the power-on time
The shutter speed setting is saved when the power is turned off. The saved
shutter speed value will be applied the next time the power is turned on.
