Selecting the Scan Dialog Size
Macintosh: The Nikon Scanner plug-in automatically adjusts the size of the dia-
log box based on the screen size. At times, you might desire to change the screen size.
You can force a large screen size by checking the
U
SE
L
ARGE
S
CREEN
check box, as
seen in Figure 7.26. Similarly, you can invoke the small screen size by removing the
check mark from this box. If you change the state of the check box, you must exit the
Tools dialog, exit the plug-in, then relaunch the plug-in in order for the new screen size
to take effect. It is not necessary to restart the application software.
Faster previews can be obtained by unchecking the
U
SE
L
ARGE
S
CREEN
check box
and using the smaller screen size.

Windows: The Nikon Scanner plug-in allows you to select the small dialog size
on a large monitor by holding down the Control key while the plug-in is loading, or by
