Battery Life
The length of time batteries can be used and the number of shots that can
be uploaded before recharging varies with the condition of the batteries,
signal strength, and how camera and UT-1 are used. The following
measurements were performed using a fully-charged EN-EL15 battery
(1900 mAh) at a temperature of 23 °C (73.4 °F) while continuously
uploading images with an average file size of 9 megabytes to an ftp server
configured using Internet Information Services (ISS) under Windows 7
Ultimate over an infrastructure network with the UT-1 in transfer mode (all
figures are approximate).
To ensure maximum battery performance:
•
Keep the battery contacts clean. Soiled contacts can reduce battery
performance.
•
Use EN-EL15 batteries immediately after charging. Batteries will lose
their charge if left unused.
•
Periodically check the battery level using
Wireless Transmitter

•
The battery level displayed by the camera may vary with changes in
temperature.
•
A sharp drop in the length of time the battery can hold a charge
indicates that the battery must be replaced.
