USER GUIDE
DISPLAY SETTINGS
1. Press-and-hold the
Niles Logo Soft Key
for three
seconds
. The Setup screen appears.
2. Press the
Vol + and Vol – Keys
to highlight Display
Settings, then press the
Play/Pause/Select Key
.
3. Press the
Vol + and Vol – Keys
to scroll through the
menu and highlight either Contrast or Backlight
Timeout.
4. When
“Contrast”
is highlighted, adjust the LCD
screen’s contrast level using the
< and > Keys
.
The current contrast level is indicated by the
sliding bar graph.
5. When
“Backlight Timeout”
is highlighted, adjust
the time that the backlight stays on after any
keypad activity in 10-second increments. Make
these adjustments by using the
< and > Keys
. You
can decrease the time to
“Always On”
or increase
the time up to 240 seconds (4 minutes).
