Security kickstands

Observe the operating instructions 

• 

Always watch out for the traffic while working.

• 

The City Ranger 3500 belongs to the category of public 
works vehicles. This vehicle should not be used for the 
transport of humans or goods

• 

Climbing pavements is possible up to 15 cm from the 
ground (traditional pavements) and should be done 
very slowly.

• 

Use the parking brake and remove the ignition key 
when stopped

Maintenance

The company Nilfisk is by no means responsible for damages 
or accidents caused by misuse or by a lack of maintenance of 
the vehicle.
When non-original spares are used, or attachments or 
other components are used which are not approved by the 
manufacturer, the guarantee will not apply.

When carrying out engine maintenance, raise the rear 
mounted attachment in order to put the security kickstands 
in place. (Picture 1) Never work on the engine without 
securing the security kickstands!

Only work in the engine compartment when it is safe to  
do so.
Never put your hands in or near the turbine when it is 
running. Keep a safe distance and wear safety glasses.

Avoid carrying out maintenance when the engine is on. Keep 
away from the cooling circuit fan. (Picture 4)

When liquid is under pressure, it can can go through the skin 
and cause serious lesions. Make sure that the system is not 
under pressure before working on it.
