The procedure for switching it off is of course identical. In this case, as well a sound signal
will confirm it is switching off.
DOC SKATE works in two modes:

Slow Mode

Speed Mode
SLOW MODE AND SPEED MODE
Switch on DOC SKATE and the remote control. The selector on the side of the remote control
(7) allows you to change easily from Slow to Speed mode.
FIRST
STEPS
Switch on DOC SKATE and the remote control.
Decide which mode you want (Slow or Speed).
Put one foot on and check you are properly balanced on the SKATE, then stand with both
feet. Start the SKATE using the control stick.

DOC SKATE is a lot more sensitive in Speed mode.
•
Move the control stick gradually.
•
Always keeps your legs apart on the board.
•
Try to keep your body’s barycentre as low as
possible.
•
Bend forwards in the acceleration phase.
•
Bend backwards when braking.
•
Steering with DOC SKATE is like steering with a
traditional skateboard.
SPEED
LIMITS
•
Slow:
The top speed for DOC SKATE in Slow mode is 10 Km/h.
When this limit is reached, the speed will be constant.
•
Speed:
The top speed for DOC SKATE in Speed mode is 20 Km/h. In this case too, when this limit is
reached the speed will be constant.
SLOWING AND BRAKING
When the command stick is released, it automatically returns to neutral position and the
drive wheel will no longer have any drive - it will move by inertia.
If the stick is moved into the reverse position, the wheel will block immediately
ATTENTION: THE BRAKING EFFECT ONLY ACTS ON THE DRIVE WHEEL.
BEAR THIS IN MIND DURING USE.
FEASIBLE
DISTANCE
The maximum distance DOC SKATE can cover depends on a number of factors:
•
Topography: the feasible distance on smooth, flat roads increases, whereas it
decreases if moving uphill.
•
Weight: the user’s weight will influence the feasible distance.
•
Temperature of use: cold temperatures decrease the battery’s efficiency.
