4.3 Printer Messages
In the situation where messages are displayed when using this printer, refer to this chapter to
check the anticipated causes of the problems and implement appropriate measures.

Cause and Countermeasures
Cover open.
The cover is open.
⇒
Close the cover.
Check Media.
At the start of printing there was no plate or sheet.
⇒
Set a plate or sheet in the printer.
No Ribbon.
The ribbon of the ribbon cassette has been used up.
⇒
Set a new ribbon cassette in the printer.

Set Ribbon.
There is no ribbon cassette set in the printer.

Printer inside is hot. Please wait.
The temperature inside the printer has risen abnormally.

Wait until the temperature in the printer has lowered. When
the printer returns to normal temperature, the processing will
automatically re-start.
No cleaning tape.
The cleaning tape has finished. Or else the cleaning tape has
become jammed.
⇒
Replace the cleaning cassette. In addition, in the situation
where the cleaning tape is jammed, remove the jammed tape.

Replace Ribbon Cassette.
During single color printing, the cover has been closed
without replacing the ribbon cassette after the ribbon replacing
indication message has been displayed.

Set new Media
This is displayed when printing data is being received.

Set a new media.
Set Media halfway printed.
During single color printing when printing a plate, this is
displayed after ribbon cassette replacement.

printer.
